Irrigation & CAD Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh intends to engage professionals on contract basis for A.P. Community based Tank Management Project and applications are invited from eligible and desirous candidates for the following positions. All positions are based in Hyderabad.

8-10 Years experience in Natural Resource Management(NRM) projects as Environmental Management expert, Environemnt Management Planning, Analysis and assessment. (Expereince in World Bank Projects would be an added advantage)

  • Co-ordinating with CB Expert in PMU on capacity building for MLE at various levels and generate a common understanding among all stakeholders on RBF.
  • Co-ordinating M& E agency for baseline, concurrent monitoring, mid-term assessment and final project evaluation

    • Preparation of Annual Action Plans
    • Preparation of Monthly Progress Reports

    • Preparation and processing of Reimbursement Claims
    • AG Audit / Internal Audit

3 MIS Manager
  • Overall management of IT support to the programme both at district and state level under the guidance of State Project Director, PMU
  • Liaison and coordination with MIS agency
  • Liaison and coordination with DPU MIS managers
  • Planning and conducting trainings in coordination with CB expert, PMU.
  • Regular reviews with respect to data management systems
  • Periodic review of software applications  in consultation with the resource person, MIS agency and PMU team members
  • Reporting to SPD
  • Carrying out any other task related to the project as assigned by the State Project Director
4 Environmental Expert
  • Coordinating with Project management Unit (PMU) experts and District Project Unit (DPU) staff in ensuring the inclusion of environment related information as per Social & Environmental Management (SEM) Framework of the Project, in each (Tank Implementation & Management Plan) TIMP. This includes present status, problem analysis, and preparation of specific plans. Environment issues include Pest Management, Surface and groundwater quality,  construction safeguards and dam safety
  • Monitoring in coordination with PMU and DPU staff implementation of IPM plan, Dam Safety Plan, Water Quality, Environment Safeguards as specified in the Project
  • Monitoring the compliance of environment safeguards by contracting agencies at construction site as per SEMF
  • Preparation of status reports with detailed analysis of results provided by relevant agencies on progress on the Environment aspects related to project and reporting to State Project Director (SPD) in specified periodicity
  • Coordinating with PMU and DPU staff in planning, implementing and monitoring capacity building activities for different stakeholders on environment aspects detailed in the project
  • Environmental Assessment Planning for the Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) interventions. 
  • Taking up any other relevant activity as proposed by the State Project Director, time to time.
5 Commodity Expert.
  • Assessing  quantity of production, extent of the area, availability of potential buyers, shelf life of the produce in storage and transportation, market price fluctuations in season and out-of-season of the identified commodities under Agricultural Livelihood Support Services (ALSS), under the guidance of Project management Unit (PMU) experts and District Project Unit (DPU)
  • Assisting DPU/PMU in preparing value chains
  • Developing Marketing plan for the commodity in consultation with DPU/PMU
  • Liaison between CIGs (through WUAs) and potential buyers and foster buyback arrangements
  • Guiding CIGs in preparation of business plans and assisting DPUs/PMU in scrutiny
  • Supervising the overall implementation of approved business plans and guiding CIGs, WUAs and SOs in execution of business plans
  • Prepare periodical progress reports on implementation of the district wise business plans to the SPD
